Film Submissions
The film submissions process opens on the 1st of February 2014 and closes on the 31st of July 2014.
We accept submissions in any genre or language, feature-length and short, scripted and documentary.
We do not charge for submissions or for screenings. Equally we do not pay screening fees.

The festival will contact you to arrange a viewing of the film for selection. We can currently accept submissions on:

DVD (Region 2 or 0 PAL)

Online streaming (if of sufficient quality, typically DVD equivalent / 480i - 525i minimum)
|
For festival presentation we require DCP or region B blu-ray except by prior arrangement.
The festival can accept unfinished films, provided the version submitted is substantially complete and the schedule for completion expects the film to be finished by the 14th of August 2014.
The festival accepts films from every genre and in any language. Our requirements are below:

If the film isn’t in English it must be subtitled in English

The film must not have received a major theatrical or home entertainment release that includes cinemas or homes in Kent, England, before the festival screening.

We do not reject films on the basis of their inclusion in other film festivals or film markets.
